Nicholas Ledra has a MSc is pursuing a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. He has 8 years of teaching experience as well as 12 years of research experience. He has worked on such diverse projects as plant hormones for rice seedling growth, helping to characterize the MEGL-D enzyme found in P. Gingiva as well as helping to discover a potential treatment for some types of gingivitis, using stable oxygen isotope analysis for ocean masses as a climate change indicator. Additionally, along with Nestor Maceda-Johnson in 2013 came up with several unique methods for enzyme/protein modifications for enhanced enzymatic (function). He is also one of the co-founders of BIOSA Technologies as a biochemistry specialist and has published and presented many papers. In his spare time Nicholas likes to visit historic destinations within the United States and around the world.

Nestor Maceda-Johnson is a young chemist working in the field since 2016. Nestor received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. Previously receiving his high school diploma from the American Heritage School. In 2016 he co-founded BIOSA Technologies with fellow researcher Nicholas Ledra and as well as a previous professor Dr. Terry McCaffrey. BIOSA Technologies was the recipient for a NSF I-CORPS grant in the summer of 2016. BIOSA Technologies has also been networking heavily in the chemical industry field making contact and interacting with many and great companies in the field.
BIOSA Technologies provides the enzyme engineering and modification service to help clients with the increasing needs in improving enzyme activity and properties and creating the perfect biocatalyst for a new reaction. We are unique being one of the few companies that provide solutions to such challenging tasks.
