WELCOME TO
BIOSA TECHNOLOGIES
OUR COMPANY
BIOSA Technologies is a biotechnology research and development firm. Through proprietary processes and advanced manufacturing techniques, we help organizations innovate ecofriendly solutions to pressing industry, health, and environmental problems.

MISSION & VISION
We safely and sustainably enhance new or existing industrial processes to create less harmful solutions, protecting people and the environment.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
Our unique, proprietary technology platform optimizes both synthetic (e.g. cobalt, silica, flurophores) and biobased materials (e.g. proteins, enzymes, polysaccharides) to enhance a product’s performance and reduce its environmental footprint. By coupling this technology with novel advanced manufacturing processes, we can incorporate nanomaterials into fibres, solutions, or existing products, expanding our industrial reach and application.

AREAS OF RESEARCH
ENZYMATIC STABILIZATION
Enzymes are highly potent catalysts, but normally only function within very limited conditions. Our patent-pending techniques increase enzyme stability, enabling the once lab-only matter to be used in practical, real-world applications.
NANOPARTICLES
Nanoparticles add special qualities to our solutions, such as increasing the longevity of final products or adding anti-viral properties. We continually work on identifying and developing eco-friendly additives for our products and partners.
ELECTROSPINNING
An advanced manufacturing technique, electrospinning allows us to achieve unique, high-performing nanofibre materials, providing a stronger end-product for our partners.
NANOFIBRES
The output of our products are often functionalized nanofibres, which are lightweight polymers with controllable pore structures, allowing us to create products with the most precise and exacting specifications.
POLYMER DEVELOPMENT AND FORMULATION
We research and develop custom-designed polymers out of recycled, repurposed, or natural source materials (e.g. biomass, used water bottles). Depending on their ultimate application, we design the polymers to function in a number of scenarios, including controlled-release applications.
THIN-FILM SUBSTRATE DEPOSITION
Thin-film substrate deposition is the process of creating and depositing thin film coatings onto material surfaces such as plastic, glass, metal, wood, textiles, and concrete. Thin films can be created out of a variety of materials such as metals, metal-oxides, silica, polymers, and cellulose. Through state-of-the-art technology, we can produce multiple layers with roll-to-roll large-scale capabilities.

We’ve developed products and solutions ranging from smart textiles and personal protective equipment (PPE) to wastewater treatments, oil and water separation, industrial coatings, renewable energy, and non-toxic pesticides.
